Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 06 October 2026 · Kanak Accounting Solutions (OPC) Private Limited
We want you to be clear about cancellation and refunds before you order.
Paying after verification
For most services you may choose to pay after our officer has verified your documents. No amount is collected when you place such an order. We start the work only after the payment is received.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel from the order page in your portal by choosing “Cancel this order” and giving a reason. What happens next depends on the stage:
- Before any payment: the order is cancelled at once. There is no charge.
- Paid, but work has not started (status “Received”, “Documents needed” or “Payment due”): full refund of the amount paid.
- Work has started, not yet filed or delivered (status “In progress” or “Your review needed”): refund of the fee less a charge for the work already done. The charge will not exceed 50% of the fee.
- After filing, submission or delivery of the report (status “Completed”): the order cannot be cancelled and no refund is due.
- If we are unable to deliver the service for a reason within our control: full refund at any stage.
Where money has been paid, cancellation is a request that our team confirms, normally within two working days. A credit note is issued for the refunded amount.
Monthly and annual plans
- You may stop a monthly plan at any time before the next billing date. The month already paid for is not refunded, and we complete the work for that month.
- Annual plans cancelled part-way are refunded for the unused months, after re-pricing the months used at the monthly rate.
Government fees and taxes
Amounts paid to the government (registration fees, stamp duty, taxes, late fees) are not refundable by us.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid to the bank or UPI account the payment came from, within 7 working days of approval. For questions, message your account manager from the order page or write to 9500406111 with your order number.
Contact us if anything here is unclear.
